Canal Boat Cruise

I finally made it! I've been in Amsterdam for about 2 days now and I'm really enjoying it! However, I've been having really bad jet lag though. I've woken up at 3 in the morning the past two days with out being able to go back to sleep (its 4 am here right now), so I get extremely tired at night. Today I'm just going to have to tough it out and stay up later. For everyone who gave me scarves, hats and gloves for christmas and my birthday, THANK YOU!! It's been very cold here and I'm putting them to good use! However, the weather is not as bad as I was expecting, but we'll see how I feel the first time I have to bike to class in the rain. I'm happy to say that I'm making lots of friends and having a really good time so far! Wednesday we started orientation and went for a cruise through the canals! It was a really beautiful and cool way to see the city.
